Sliced Pork with Garlic Sauce
Author: Mr. Go 2/3 lb fresh pork loin
1 tblspn rice wine
2 stalks green onion
2 slices ginger
3 cloves garlic
1 tspn sugar
1 tspn vinegar
2 tblspn soy sauce
1 tblspn chili oil
1. Place pork in a pan with water, add the rice wine, onion, and ginger and let liquid come to a boil.
2. Turn heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove and cut into paper-thin slices.
3. Pound garlic into fine pieces and mix the sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and chili oil.
4. Dip the thinly-sliced pork loin in boiling water one last time. Remove, drain and arrange on a serving plate. Pour the mixture from no.3 over the pork loin and serve.
Garnish with coriander.
