Milk Cauliflower
Author: Mr. Go 1-1/2 lbs cauliflower
4 cups water
1/2 tblspn rice wine
2 cups soup stock
1 tspn salt
1/2 tblspn corn starch
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1 tblspn chopped cooked ham
Rinse and drain cauliflower, separate in bite-size sections.
Boil water and add cauliflower sections, cook 2 minutes, remove and drain.
Heat pan and add 3 tblspn oil. Add rice wine, soup stock and salt. When liquid boils, add cauliflower sections and cook 5 minutes over medium heat. See to it the liquid is almost dry.
Remove and arrange cauliflower sections flower-side down on a medium size bowl. Pack lightly and invert onto a serving plate.
Heat pan and 1 tblspn oil. Add 1/2 cup soup stock, and 1 tspn salt and heat until boiling.
Add 1/2 tblspn corn starch and 1 tblspn water to thicken and slowly add the milk, stirring constantly.
Add 1/2 tblspn oil and pour over cauliflower mold, sprinkle chopped ham on top and serve.
